How does Jaild work?

Choose the apps you want to block and set a schedule. Jaild uses Apple’s FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity Screen Time frameworks to apply the scheduled restrictions.

What schedules are supported?

You can save up to 12 blocks. Each must last at least 15 minutes, can cross midnight, and repeats on the days of the week you choose. Choose specific distractions or all eligible apps. Blocking requires a physical iPhone; simulator previews do not block apps.

A scheduled block isn’t working

Check that Jaild has Screen Time authorization and that the intended apps, schedule, and repeat days are selected. If the problem continues, open Diagnostics in the app and use Share report to send the troubleshooting records to support along with the details above. The report contains event times, counts, permission state, and error codes. It does not include app names or browsing history.

What is Hard Mode?

During a Hard Mode block’s protected hours, that block cannot be edited or deleted in the app. There is no in-app stop, skip, or break; wait until its scheduled end to change it. Other blocks can still be managed. Overlapping blocks may keep restrictions active after one block ends.

Hard Mode is a commitment inside Jaild, not a lock on your phone. iOS still lets you revoke Screen Time access or delete the app.

Trying the browser demo?

Start with Today, then open Plan to change sample blocks, repeat days, and Hard Mode. The preview controls simulate different states. Reload the page to reset the demo. The demo cannot access Screen Time, block apps, or change anything on your phone.
